CTHS Wins Awards For Improved Matric Results - 2 Mar '17

On Thursday 2 March 2017, the Cape Metro Central Education district held their first Matric Improvement Results Awards Ceremony at the Old Mutual in Pinelands, Cape Town.

At this event, which was attended by Cape Town High School's principal, Staff Representatives and members of the CTHS School Management Team, our School was presented with no less than three awards for maintaining top Matriculation results.

The first award was for an improvement in Subject marks.
The second award was for maintaining a 100% Pass Rate in certain subjects.
The third award (the trophy) was for maintaining a high percentage of Batchelors Passes since 2014.

CTHS Principal Mr Emilton Cloete accepted the awards along with Ms Liesl van Egeren, Mrs Fayrooz Matthews, Ms Charlene Petersen and Mr Mandla Sibanda at the prestigious ceremony.

Further proof that Cape Town High School is not resting on its laurels, but progressing towards its goal to provide quality education as a centre of excellence.
