CTHS Gr 8 to 11 Awards - 24 Oct '14

On Friday 24 October 2014, Cape Town High School held its annual Awards Ceremony for those learners in Grades Eight to Eleven who had excelled in both the academic and sporting areas.

CTHS Valedictory Ceremony - 17 Oct '14

On Friday 17 October 2014, Cape Town High School held its annual Valedictory Ceremony. This is where our  matric learners are celebrated for their achievements. It is a poignant occasion because it is the final Assembly attended by the Grade Twelve students before they start writing their Matric exams.

CTHS Applications for 2016 - Aug '14

Please take note that pplications for learners to attend Cape Town High School in 2016 are now closed.

From 2016 onwards, applications now require Unabridged Birth Certificates; i.e. Birth Certificates that show both biological parents' names.

Please make sure that the ID numbers of both parents appear on the Unabridged Birth Certificates submitted.

Please ensure your applications for such Birth Certificates are made to the relevant authority in good time to accompany your child's application form to attend Cape Town High School..

  1. Applications for learners to register with Cape Town High School have now closed for 2014;
  2. The old application forms on the www.capetownhighschool.com website are now OUT OF DATE.
    Please do not use them!

CTHS Open Day is Postponed - Apr '14

The proposed Open Day at Cape Town High School, which was supposed to take place on Saturday 12 April, has been postponed until further notice.

We apologise for the last-minute nature of this change of plan.

We will do our best to finalise preparations for this event within this term, and make announcements accordingly.
