The following Examination Rules are in place at Cape Town High School:
The Revision Session:
· ABSOLUTE SILENCE;
· No sitting together;
· No borrowing;
· NO TALKING;
· Revise and go over your work;
· Failure to adhere to the rules will result in you writing the exam once everyone else has gone home;
· You may NOT leave the room for any reason;
· The teacher must maintain 100% silence in the class.
During the Exam:
· No pieces of paper allowed anywhere on your person;
· No electronic devices allowed in the venues;
· Cell phones must be SWITCHED OFF, not on silent mode;
· Absolute silence, no communication of any type is allowed between learners;
· Raise your hand if you have a query and wait for the invigilator to come to you;
· No Tipp-Ex or correcting fluids allowed;
· No borrowing or lending of equipment;
· All bags must be placed in the front or back of the venue;
· No looking around;
· You may not deface (colour in, draw pictures, etc.) on the exam paper or script;
· No personal messages may be written on your exam script;
· Read and Follow all INSTRUCTIONS carefully;
· Read through the question paper before answering;
· When you have completed the paper, remain SILENT and do not look around.
